I have been recently involved in an interesting project, the objective of which is how to change thinking and evolve the approach for how significant technology disruptions are handled in big companies. After having an interesting conversation about this topic with the CEO (Ky Nichol) of Cutover, we felt that it would be a thought provoking topic for others too.


Ky has asked me to do a guest blog series on the topic and go through the history of managing technology issues from my perspective. Sure, today anyone with even a bit of experience in technology is now au fait with ITIL, but what was it like before all that structure, process and control… so please allow me to introduce ‘The Evolution of Incident Management’
